The best way to determine which ball mount will work best for you is to measure the hitch height on your Itasca Sunova and the coupler height of your tow dolly.
With the motor home and tow dolly on level ground, measure from the ground to the top of the trailer hitch receiver. Next, make sure the tow dolly is level to the ground and measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. The Fulton Trailer Coupler, # F222500301, fits on a 2-1/2 inch square channel. So it will be 3/4 of an inch too tall. But since couplers have mounting holes on the top and sides, you could use the top holes if the tongue on the log splitter has matching mounting holes. Something like the Dutton-Lainson Trailer Coupler, # DL13847, might be more forgiving in terms of mounting than the Master Lock.
